I was
lucky enough to attend the premiere party following the Iron Range Minnesota premiere of the movie North Country on October 14, 2005. I had a really great
time among the attendees were Niki Caro (Director), Doug Claybourne (Executive Producer), Lois Jenson (The women that filed
the sexual harassment lawsuit that inspired the movie) and many politicians along with numerous cast and crew. I was also
lucky enough to get a picture with Niki Caro and Lois Jenson what really nice women. The speeches that Niki Caro & Doug
Claybourne gave were really nice they had nothing but great things to say about the Iron Range. The talk all night from everybody that saw the movie was that it is a great movie and an Oscar Contender.
There has been a lot of talk that everybody was concerned that this movie might make Minnesota look bad but from what I heard
from everybody even the Men that saw the movie it dose not seem so. I myself was not able to attend the movie just the Premiere
Party but I will surly be first in line October 21 when it opens. I have created another photo album with pictures from the
event along with some others. You can click the link below to see them. My camera was not working that good and some of the
pictures are hard to see but I’m going to work on the quality of the pictures and replace them later. Thank You for
visiting my site. Please sign the guestbook.
